Can I prepay or make extra payments?
Yes. All of our clients may prepay without penalty. You may also make extra payments to pay down the principal balance without penalty.
Will a lien be placed on my property?
Properties with unpaid property taxes are already subject to a tax lien from the local taxing authorities. Our loan does not create a new lien instead, we receive a transferred lien from the tax office. Once this loan is paid off, we will process a release of lien within 24 hours.

No, if you miss one payment you will not lose your property. If you fall behind, our servicing team will contact you by phone and/or mail. This is a loan that you are required to pay back. Our goal is to design a payment plan that you can afford.
What if I have a mortgage?
Not a problem. Many of our clients have mortgages and we assume properties are subject to financing.
I’m ready, when can I sign up?
Once approved, we can schedule signings the same day if it fits your schedule otherwise, as soon as possible. We can schedule the loan closing in our office or at a convenient location. Appointments are available 7 days a week and 365 days a year.

Yes, if you have a good history with Sombrero Capital we can definitely help you with future property tax bills.
